Green River Capital Names Stephen Sherman Chief Operating Officer

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Oct. 6, 2010 – Green River Capital (GRC), an REO asset management and loss mitigation provider for mortgage servicers, investment firms and banking institutions, announced that Stephen Sherman has been promoted to chief operating officer (COO) for GRC’s sister companies, GR Financial (GRF) and Infinity Valuation Sevices (IVS). Sherman brings more than 20 years of experience in the servicing, secondary market, consulting and REO industries to the position.

In his new role as COO, Sherman oversees the operations of GRF, the short sale program provider and IVS, the group’s BPO company.

“Stephen has contributed immensely to Green River Capital as well as to the creation of our two sister companies, and under his guidance we expect continued growth and success,” said Christopher West, president and CEO of GRC. “He has a level of expertise that is an ideal addition to our executive management team.”

Sherman joined Green River Capital in 2008, and he has held many successful senior level management positions with the company, acquiring extensive and valuable experience in asset management. Most recently, he was senior vice president, supervising GRF short sale and DIL services as well as IVS services including BPO appraisals and desktop reviews.

Prior to GRC, Sherman held executive positions at GMAC’s Residential Funding Corp. (RFC), Bank of America, Metmor Financial and Aames Home Loans. He has also worked as a consultant and auditor.
